── THE ARTIST ───────────────────────────────────
This bracelet is the work of Alex Sanchez — an
award-winning, third-generation silversmith of Navajo
(Water Edge Clan) and Zuni heritage, born in Mexican
Springs, New Mexico.

Taught by his brother, the celebrated silversmith
Myron Panteah, Alex has built a distinguished career
around petroglyph-inspired heavy gauge sterling silver
work that bridges 1,000 years of ancestral symbolism
with a bold contemporary vision. His work has been
exhibited at the Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard
Museum, and he has received awards from the Red Earth
Show in Oklahoma, the Gallup Ceremonial, and the
Navajo Nation Fair.

The petroglyph designs in Alex's work draw directly
from Chaco Canyon — ancient symbols and spirit figures
carrying messages left by ancestors over a millennium
ago.

── THE CUFF ─────────────────────────────────────
This is one of Alex Sanchez's most visually powerful
petroglyph cuffs. Worked in wide, heavy-gauge sterling
silver, the band is deeply oxidized and sandblasted
to a rich, earthy ground — the perfect dark canvas
for the bold polished silver appliqué figures that
march across its surface.

On the left: a large concentric spiral — the ancient
Chaco Canyon symbol of wind, migration, and the cycle
of water — sits beside a polished bear paw and a
spirit figure in mid-stride. On the right: twin
spirals flank a running figure and a branching
plant or lightning symbol. Every element is
purposeful, drawn from a visual language over
1,000 years old.

The contrast between the matte oxidized ground
and the high-polish silver overlay is pure Alex
Sanchez — dramatic, ancient, and unmistakably his.

── THE STONE ────────────────────────────────────
At the center of the cuff sits a magnificent
freeform Kingman turquoise stone — large, bold,
and commanding. Its color is a vivid, saturated
robin's egg blue — the signature tone that has
made Kingman turquoise one of the most celebrated
and collected American turquoise varieties in
the world. The stone has a clean, largely
matrix-free face with a small natural inclusion
near the base — a mark of authenticity that
confirms this is genuine natural turquoise,
not stabilized or treated.

Bezel-set in polished sterling silver, the stone
rises from the oxidized band like a burst of
Southwest sky. It is exceptional.
