DetailsRutilated quartz is special because it contains rutile which are the long needle-like structures inside of the quartz. A sterling silver ring made of gold rutilated quartz is a piece anyone can appreciate. Did you know that rutile was called Red Schorl? Its often reddish presentation is what earned the name. It can also appear light gold to dark brown within various stones. The Smithsonian Museum has many impressive examples of rutile. When I saw it there, I was immediately captivated, so when I had the opportunity to share just a bit of that experience, in the form of a ring, I jumped at the chance. Gift wrapping and packaging
I carefully gift-wrap everything all of the time at no charge. If you buy 5 rings, I may place 3 in one box and 2 in another. If you're buying two or more items and select the 'Gift' option in your cart, I will pack each item in its own gift box or sack before placing them in the shipping box and sending them off.
